von Krogh

von Krogh is an artist project by and featuring Elias von Krogh, within the genre of alternative rock/pop. He is joined by Aadne Salen Sandvik on piano and keys as a permanent part of von Krogh.

The sound of von Krogh is an exciting collection of genres that are stitched together into von Krogh's own expression! Inspiration is drawn from artists such as Tommy Tokyo, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, ELO, Benjamin Clementine, Muse, Queen, Thomas Dybdahl, Tom Odell, among others.

von Krogh has already played to full houses in both Oslo and Fredrikstad, at Herr Nilsen and Hoi Polloi. Parkteateret in Oslo, Hulen in Bergen, Rockefeller in Oslo, Månefestivalen in Fredrikstad, Taubertal Festival in Germany, Cosmopolite stage in Oslo, and Betong in Oslo are just some of the many stages we have and will continue to play at. von Krogh  is also starting to gain international recognition and is looking forward to an exciting year ahead.

Internationally, the voice and music of von Krogh have been compared to a range of names/artists/bands: Jeff Buckley, Benjamin Clementine, Thomas Dybdahl, Radiohead, Coldplay, OneRepublic, Mumford and Sons, 10CC, Bastille, Maroon 5, Of Monsters and Men, to name a few.

In May '24, von Krogh won the Norwegian final of Emergenza at Rockefeller and represented Norway in the international final in Germany (Taubertal Festival) in August.

von Krogh describes itself as a provider of "bipolar music," writing about everything from the darkest valleys to the brightest peaks that everyone must navigate. von Krogh has become known for a varied, sensitive, and classic sound, with large choirs and powerful moments, where the music guarantees moments where emotions from all parts of the spectrum emerge.
